Devotion---February 15, 2015

Walking By Faith, Not An Easy Task

As a woman of God I have been
challenged many times over....
through trials, tribulations
and tests.
From overcoming my childhood
nightmares of being  abused,
raped & an abandoned...
to sickness, surgeries, and
the death of my daughter
and the loss of my marriage.
All very painful....
All healed by the precious
Blood of Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have learned the only way
to overcome any kind of
obstacle is through
faith based prayer.
And putting my entire
trust in God to take
care of the situation,
in His way and in His
time.

Sometimes God gives me
a scripture to hold onto...
A promise directly
from Him...
example-- Jeremiah 29:11.

Other times He corrects
my attitude and gives
me a book to read and
study to help me learn
how to deal with a storm.

example--
"Theres A Miracle In the House"
Written By: Tommy Barnett
or
"The Three Battlegrounds"
Written By: Fancis Frangipane

I also have learned to wait,
listen and obey Gods directions.

Even when it hurts so very badly!

Even if it is going to rip my
heart out!

Even when it means eating
crow and going to my enemies
and asking for their forgiveness...
(Asking your enemy for his/her
forgiveness when you are not
the offender...sucks! But it is
important to follow Gods
instructions---with the love
of God in your heart.)

Even when I have to sit and wait
for long periods of time with
out a clear answer.

Sometimes it is very clear
how to deal with the firery
darts of the enemy of God.

Other times, it takes some
real fasting and faith based
prayers to get the answer
to a problem.

The book of Hebrews
tells us the ancients
were honored by God
because of their amazing
faith and trust in Him.

We need to read, study
and meditate on Gods
Holy Anointed Words
every single day.
Like a big dose of
Vitamin C.

God never promised us that our
lives would be without pain,
sorrow our trouble.

But God did promise each of us
if we will study His word,
meditate on His word,
pray, repent, and seek
first His kingdom and
His righteousness then
He will bless us with Holy
favor.

God promised that He will
never leave us nor forsake us
in our time of need.

God promised that His Grace
is sufficient to see us through
any storm of life.

God promised His mercies will
be renewed every single day.

God promised that He will provide
for us, heal us, bless us.....

IF WE WILL OBEY HIM!
IF WE WILL TRUST HIM!
IF WE WILL FOLLOW
 HIS COMMANDMENTS!

I would like to encourage you today,
if you are going through some kind
of storm in your life...physically,
mentally, emotionally, or
financially....seek out God and His
solution to your problems.
It may take some time.
But if you trust God and His
promises....You will over
come what ever it is you are facing.

If you do not know how to read and
study Gods word.....feel free to
send me an in box message and
I will be happy to help you.
If you need prayer...please let
me know...It is a great honor to
pray for Gods precious saints. :D
